Deep-Sea and Fresh Water Fishing: Much of Colombia's rivers and lakes are unpolluted and generally stock full of a great diversity of fresh water fish. Everything from trout, bass, piranha and even giant Amazonian Pirarucú are fare game.

 

Colombia's Caribbean and Pacific Coastal regions are some of the most productive fishing regions on earth. There are a number of great spots near where you can catch Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Wahoo, Black fin Tuna, Yellow-fin Tuna, Kingfish and Barracuda among many others.

Bird Watching and Fauna Spotting: Because of the great variety of climates in Colombia, it boasts the highest number of animal species on earth and thus an incredible place to spot wildlife. Here goes…1876 bird species, 760 species of amphibians, 518 species of reptile (115 are endemic), and 450 mammal species (of which 36 are endemic).
